Anyone watched the game? There was this part the game was stopped cos fat lampard injured eboue and he was being stretchered off and practically the whole stadium was chanting:” OH ASHLEY COLE, IS A F**KING ARSEHOLE!” very hillarious match. Insane performance by Almunia and childishness from both sides. Completely loved it. haha.

It’s a different christmas season this year. Time is tight and the looming A’s look scarier by the day.

But who cares.

 

i miss singapore (and football)

American football is nice and glitzy but after Tom Brady and the patriots run a riotous first half, you can pretty much go to bed cos there’s no way in american football you can make a comeback. So for all its glamour, it can never measure up to the magic of true football.

So i guess I’m back, Ive got a stack of unread the economist and books to read.

Its great to see familiar faces and voices and remind of times long ago. Singapore ah Singapore, despite your petite figure and lack of sexuality you’ve still teased this boy bad enough with your laksa and fake beaches.

Went to utterubbish with birthday girl janet and sarah today. it was pretty cool, especially this.

Oh and i’ve just finished fever pitch (yes its dismaying how late i got about to do it), and its really good. Depressing but good. GO READ ALL YOU GOONERSS!

Watched Arsenal VS Man U at Yirui’s on Saturday. Wholely exciting stuff. When Gallas put that equaliser in, Shannon’s, Matt’s and my screaming probably shook Yirui’s house to its foundations. But ah, games like this are made for the movies i tell you, brilliant stuff.

Pretty bummed cos most of them chums are leaving for overseas soon, leaving poor me in Singapore and coming back just when I’m off. SIGH. That’s about a month of physical absence. OH my nehneh. Let’s just hope there’s some truth to the saying “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.”
